His delegation was convinced that, despite every effort to rationalize administrative structures and processes, efforts could be duplicated and resources wasted owing to the similaritybetween the objectives, functions and capacities of the proposed Departments of Peacekeeping Operations and Field Support and those of other departments.
وإن وفده على قناعة بأنه رغم كل جهد مبذول لترشيد الهياكل والعمليات الإدارية، يمكن حدوث ازدواجية في الجهود وهدر في الموارد بسبب التشابه بين أهداف ومهام وقدرات الإدارتين المقترحتين لعمليات حفظ السلام وللدعم الميداني ولتلك الخاصة بإدارات أخرى.
