ان المنظرين في علم القيادة يقترحون بإن علينا ان نولي اهتماماقل بوعود القادة المتعلقة بالسياسات وان نولي اهتمام اكبر بذكاءهمالعاطفي اي قدراتهم الذاتية ومقدرتهم على التواصل مع الاخرين وبعكسالنظرة ان العواطف تتداخل مع التفكير السليم فإن القدرة على فهمالعواطف وتنظيمها يمكن ان ينتج عنها تفكير اكثر فعالية.
