Where cost-accounting principles are to apply, all overheads should be taken into account in establishing standard costs and charge rates for time recording and other costing systems.

In its resolution 59/301, the General Assembly requested that the Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) “conduct an audit of standard costs applied to headquarters overheads such as furniture and rental of premises, providing comparative costs on current market prices for these items”.
طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى مكتب خدمات الرقابة الداخلية، في قرارها 59/301 المؤرخ 31 آب/أغسطس 2005، ”إجراء مراجعة لحسابات التكاليف القياسية المطبقة على النفقات العامة في المقر، مثل الأثاث واستئجار أماكن العمل، مع تقديم تكاليف مقارنة بشأن أسعار السوق الحالية بالنسبة لهذين البندين“.

Requests the Secretary-General to entrust the Office of Internal Oversight Services to conduct an audit of standard costs applied to headquarters overheads such as furniture and rental of premises, providing comparative costs on current market prices for these items, and to submit its findings to the General Assembly at the second part of its resumed sixtieth session;
تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يعهد لمكتب خدمات الرقابة الداخلية بمهمة إجراء مراجعة لحسابات التكاليف القياسية المطبقة على النفقات العامة في المقر، مثل الأثاث واستئجار أماكن العمل، مع تقديم تكاليف مقارنة بشأن أسعار السوق الحالية بالنسبة لهذين البندين، وأن يقدم استنتاجاته إلى الجمعية العامة في الجزء الثاني من دورتها الستين المستأنفة؛
