La BCE ha sostenuto che i contribuenti dovrebbero farsicompletamente carico delle cattive condizioni del debito sovranodella Grecia, per paura che qualsiasi coinvolgimento del settoreprivato ( PSI) potrebbe innescare un evento creditizio (creditevent), che obbligherebbe pesanti pagamenti sugli swap daesposizione creditizia (credit-defoult swaps – CDSs), conl’eventualità di alimentare ulteriormente la turbolenzafinanziaria.
