Shelter rehabilitation. With special contributions from earmarked project funding, UNRWA rehabilitated a total of 667 shelters of special hardship case families, as compared with 358 in the previous reporting period.
إصلاح المأوى - قامت الأونروا، بمساهمات خاصة من تمويل المشاريع المخصص لأغراض معنية بإصلاح ما مجموعه 667 مأوى للعائلات المستفيدة من برنامج حالات العُسر الشديد، وذلك مقارنة بـ 358 مأوى في الفترة المشمولة بالتقرير السابق.

In 2004, Jordan had authorized the establishment of a system of family shelters; and a non-governmental women's organization had founded the first shelter for women victims of violence, and governmental and non-governmental institutions promoted counselling and support programmes.
