In view of concerns expressed when the Security Council previously considered the Bougainville peace process and UNPOB, I am pleased to advise that the protocol establishing the BTT gives it the explicit function of cooperating with United Nations observers, on agreed terms and conditions.
ونظرا للشواغل التي أعرب عنها عندما نظر مجلس الأمن في عملية بوغانفيل للسلام ومكتب الأمم المتحدة السياسي في بوغانفيل، يسرني أن أعلمكم بأن البروتوكول المنشئ للفريق الانتقالي يعطيه مهمة واضحة هي التعاون مع مراقبــي الأمـــم المتحدة علـــى أســـاس شروط متفق عليها.

The Commissioner for Children Bill, once enacted, will give the Commissioner additional statutory functions and explicit statutory powers in order to give better effect to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCROC), as follows:
ومشروع قانون مفوض شؤون الطفل، بمجرد سنِّهِ سيعطي المفوض وظائف قانونية إضافية وصلاحيات قانونية صريحة لوضع اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الطفل موضع التنفيذ على نحو أفضل، كما يلي:

Specifically, it should promote the issuance of appropriate, formal invitations to the chairperson and members, and ensure that the Forum's presence is recognized in the plenary and other meetings by an official nameplate and desk, as well as by inclusion in the agenda and explicit invitation to formal functions.
وينبغي لها أن تشجع على وجه التحديد على توجيه دعوات رسمية مناسبة إلى رئيس وأعضاء المنتدى وأن تكفل الاعتراف بوجود المنتدى في الجلسات العامة وغيرها من الجلسات بوجود مقعد للمنتدى ولافتة رسمية تحمل اسمه، فضلا عن إدراج اسمه في جدول الأعمال وتوجيه دعوة علنية إليه لحضور المناسبات الرسمية.
