On 20 January, the Vice-Minister of Demobilization formally adopted the Ituri operational plan for disarmament and community reintegration. The plan was jointly prepared by the Transitional Government, UNDP, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and MONUC through the Ituri-based Comité technique de planification et de coordination and is to be implemented pending the adoption of the national disarmament, demobilization and reintegration programme.
وفي 20 كانون الثاني/يناير، اعتمد نائب وزير التسريح رسميا الخطة التنفيذية لنزع السلاح وإعادة الإدماج المجتمعي في إيتوري التي أعدتها الحكومة الانتقالية، وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي، واليونيسيف، والبعثة، في إطار اللجنة الفنية للتخطيط والتنسيق في إيتوري والتي يزمع تنفيذها ريثما يعتمد البرنامج الوطني لنزع السلاح والتسريح وإعادة الإدماج.

The Group of Experts was also informed that the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations Secretariat, in cooperation with the Association de planification fiscale et financière, a non-governmental organization based in Montreal, organized an ad hoc expert group meeting on strategies for improving resource mobilization in developing countries and countries with economies in transition from 2 to 6 October 2000.
كما أٌبلغ فريق الخبراء بأن إدارة الشؤون الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في الأمانة العامة للأمم المتحدة قد نظمت، بالتعاون مع رابطة التخطيط المالي والضريبي، وهي منظمة غير حكومية مقرها مونتريال، اجتماعا لفريق الخبراء المخصص المعني باستراتيجيات تحسين تعبئة الموارد في البلدان النامية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقال، في الفترة من 2 حتى 6 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2000.
