Mr. Simula stated that the financing of sustainable forest management will have a critical impact on the effectiveness of any instrument.

In response to a question regarding how to increase financing for sustainable forest management, Mr. Simula stated that increased political will could provide the catalyst.
وجوابا عن سؤال بشأن كيفية زيادة تمويل الإدارة المستدامة للغابات، ذكر السيد سيمولا أن زيادة الإرادة السياسية يمكن أن توفر العامل الحفاز لذلك.

Mr. Simula also highlighted the critical importance of upfront investment for sustainable forest management which was not adequately covered by existing financial flows.
وسلط السيد سيمولا أيضاً الضوء على الأهمية الحاسمة للاستثمارات الأولية لتحقيق الإدارة المستدامة للغابات التي لا تحظى بتمويل مناسب من التدفقات المالية الحالية.
